Indigenous Epistemologies and Practices

The western world has traditionally devalued indigenous epistemologies as “superstitious” and “irrational,” largely to maintain its monopoly on truth and practice. These episodes show the forms and nature of these erasures, and their weakness and contradictions as well. We learn about these ways of knowing and being in the world in ways that help us live better and richer lives with others and with the planet.
